Do I require a police records check?

  1. Maybe. It depends on the organization and type of volunteer role you select.
  2. Before obtaining a police records check, consult the organization you'd like to volunteer with. They will inform you whether a police records check is required, and may have further details or important instructions.

Where do I get a police records check?

Contact your local RCMP or community police station.

I am an international student /not a permanent resident of Canada. Can I volunteer?

  1. This depends on the role.

I am not fluent in English/French. Can I volunteer?
