This resource manual has been prepared for managers of volunteer resources and others in the non-profit sector who are interested in attracting retired business and public sector leaders to volunteering. It is based on the findings of a study conducted with a group of leaders in Victoria, British Columbia who were either retired or close to retirement. It offers strategies that non-profit and charitable organizations can use to successfully recruit these highly skilled and experienced individuals as volunteers.
