Abstract:   Organizations of all types in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors are constantly being urged to improve their performance by adopting the tools of information and communications technology (ICT) such as computers, software, and the Internet. The purpose of this report is to add to our knowledge about the effective use of ICT in the nonprofit sector by presenting the results of new research into the factors that impact ICT use and effectiveness in the management of volunteer programs in Canada.
