Position Details
Position: Volunteer Driver - St. Albert
Organization: Canadian Cancer Society - Edmonton and AreaOpen site in new window
Mission Statement: The Canadian Cancer Society is a national community-based organization of volunteers, who mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer

Description: As a volunteer driver, you'll pick up patients from their home and take them to the Cross Cancer Institute. You'll be there to offer friendly support and kindness at a time when they need it most. And when their treatment is done, you'll make sure that they get home.
Volunteers Required: 10
Skills and Experience: Required: interview, reference checks, security clearence, a drivers abstract, proof of vehicle insurance, and friendly helping hand.
Other Language Required:
Requirements: Valid Driver's License; Use of own vehicle
Reimbursements: Mileage; Coffee / Tea
Training Provided: We'll provide the ongoing training and support for you to develop and grow in your new role.
We also offer an honorarium to our volunteers to cover mileage costs.
Parking passes at the Cross Cancer Institute while you wait.
