Position Details
Position: Classroom Volunteer - TIES
Organization: CASA Child, Adolescent and Family Mental HealthOpen site in new window
Mission Statement: To advance the mental health of infants, children, adolescents and their families through excellent clinical practice, helath promotion, education, research and advocacy.

Description: Help children experiencing emotional, behavioural, and psychological problems with their schoolwork in a structured classroom environment. Role model appropriate behaviours.
Volunteers Required: 8
Skills and Experience: Must have the desire, flexibility, and patience to work with these high needs children
The skills necessary to help the children with reading, writing and math
Interest or experience in the educational field an asset.

Training Provided: Orientation provided by CASA staff.
