Description: |
We are looking for a board member to fill our Events vacancy.
this position will establish a subcommittee to support an annual workplan.
This position will play a key role in our major annual event the Autumn Fair and implement two or three other events throughout the year that are focused on both raising awareness of Kits House and raising funds. | |
|

Skills and Experience: |
Other
Experience creating and implementing "events" geared toward raising awareness and/or raising funds.
Ability to work well within a team.
Able to create an annual plan and see the plan through to completion.
Able to collaborate and think out of the box
Great sense of humour |

2nd language an asset |

Requires criminal records check; Requires child welfare record check |

Training Provided: |
Initial orientation.
Occasional opportunities to attend seminars.
This is a leadership position and we are expecting to work with someone who brings skills to the table and someone who is interested in mentoring others selected for the events subcommittee. |
