Position: Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Organization: Canadian Cancer Society - BC/YukonOpen site in new window
Mission Statement: The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the qualitiy of life of people living with cancer. Our two priorities are: 1. Prevention/Cure: Reduced cancer incidence and cancer mortality rate for Canadians. 2. Support: Enhanced quality of life for Canadians living with cancer. Description: As the administrative support to the Human Resources Office, this position is focused on providing administrative services on:

1. Organizing and mantaining all the sensitive documentation and information (Payroll, benefits, HR ) of the personnel according with the procedures.

2. Supporting the HR staff as they undertake a large filing project to ensure accurate and retrievable employee information.
Volunteers Required: 1
Skills and Experience: The ideal candidate will have either experience in Human Resources or had completed or enrolled in courses related to Human Resources.
Computer knowledge in the use and application of Windows Professional (Word, Power Point, Excel, Access and Outlook)
Organizing and Detailed Oriented
Verbal Skills comunication
Other Language Required:

Training Provided: Any support necessary to the position.
